Back Next Unfocused Freedom

This is where freedom is,
In this part of the city,
Where even to live
One must first be wrapped
In money.
Here the popcorn man stands
Under the elegant buildings.
The streets are clean
And quiet, no children allowed.
Life is lazy here
Where the women have nothing to do
But wait for their husbands.
I walk in a circle reaching out
To catch this Freedom,
Perhaps on this bench here,
Or that spot by the water there.
I'll be damned if I focus myself for Freedom.
I want Freedom in this most unfocused way.
