it has something to do with being

Meaning:
given my constitution
my weaknesses and my strengths
Given my history
with its absurdities
and pathologies etc
The Israeli sickness
suits my sickness
"In a world of lunacy,
Violence, stupidity,
greed..."
Israel is the best place
for a person like me to be
For
whereas the European
and the North American
cover up this
malaise
with a smile
Most Israelis all the time
never hide their lunacy
violence
stupidity
and greed
I can
understand
quite well

Israel for me is Hell
I felt this Hell the deepest
when my son was fighting
in Lebanon
Israel for me is purgatory
it is an enema that somehow
my soul needs
Every once in a while
like maybe one second
a year
