I want to go into a square room where the windows are triangular the points facing the ceiling all symmetrical leading to symmetry in this room of total order I want to carve myself a shape I'll call my friends in to sit on soft leather chairs whose frames are cylindrical steel I'll show them the shape I carved I will not influence them with my mouth dance words upon their heads The shape that I carved shall draw us together I shall have nothing up my sleeve no sleight of hand I have no more reason to fix them into drones and me into the queen bee

I want to go into a square room
where the windows are triangular
the points facing the ceiling
all symmetrical
leading to symmetry
in this room of total order
I want to carve myself a shape
I'll call my friends in
to sit on soft leather chairs
whose frames are cylindrical steel
I'll show them the shape I carved
I will not influence them with my mouth
dance words upon their heads
The shape that I carved
shall draw us together
I shall have nothing
up my sleeve
no sleight of hand
I have
no more
reason
to fix them into drones
and me into the queen bee
