Back Next The Chameleon

All alone
this Chameleon
sitting on a green branch
and himself green all over
waiting for a bug
that may never appear.
He could grow skinny
and fall off
and end up
as just a green little twig
Meanwhile his tiny little feet
grasp the thin little branch
while his eyes
two appealing little telescopes
one looking up
and the other looking down
seek for just one little bay bug
