The dentist
a middleman
young
and eager to please
obeyed the god of teeth
that said remove the
lower left tooth
So the dentist dug in
and the blood poured out
and the tooth wouldn't dislodge
and amidst this non budging of the tooth
and all this blood coming out
a wise old woman came to the door
and said:
"Even with the tooth out
he may not develop"
He knew,
this patient
that this was his
feminine tooth:
his wife
he thought
that the gods were talking about
divorce
they thought she talked about death.
His tooth began to loosen
as he awoke
to the sunlight,
believing
this was just a dream
about teeth.
