Back Next Core

I entered and said
look
I'll sit by the window
facing outward
and you...
well you just look toward me
without seeing my face.
Then I zipped myself down
from the frond
and pulled out the core of me
and held it up for him to see
half of the core of me
was enflamed with resentments
and the other half was water
warmed with salt
choking to cry.
