Yesterday I was in the MARKETPLACE That PLACE Where the lanes are arrow the traffic dense the streets littered the buildings battered And URINE smells linger in the alleys And the shops are field with possibilities And Jupiter The god of luck makes a circle around the place Signifying that something spontaneous ios about to happen A car shall stall starting a traffic jam for four blocks back And I A witness Shall stand Ready to be entertained upon the sidewalk to wait to listen to the horns blaring impatiently and take not of a buddhalike character asmile in his car.

Yesterday I was in the MARKETPLACE
That PLACE
Where the lanes are arrow
the traffic dense
the streets littered
the buildings battered
And
URINE smells linger in the alleys
And the shops are field with possibilities
And Jupiter
The god of luck makes a circle around the place
Signifying that something spontaneous ios about to happen
A car shall stall
starting a traffic jam
for four blocks back
And I
A witness
Shall stand
Ready to be entertained
upon the sidewalk
to wait
to listen
to the horns
blaring
impatiently
and take not
of a buddhalike character
asmile in his car.
