Back Next Jack and Jill

And I said to my shadow or my shadow said to me let's go
mingle with evil and forget all of this other business
of goodness and work. I agreed or he agreed or we agreed,
and so forth we went. We knew that the evil we had in mine
must not mingle with that evil which seeks to choke life out. altogether
That was not our way. Our way was to first mingle with an
innocent like ourselves. One who would peek into evil slowly
close the door and peek into evil slowly and step away from
it like a forgotten moment only to step back into it again.
You know a Jack and Jill who went up the hill to fetch a pail
of water. Now when Jack's thing fell down, you know broke its
crown and jill disappointed came tumbling down afterwards,
it didn't mean that this is where the whole matter came to an end.
Of course not, as soon as they could they hurried up the hill
to fetch the pail of water again.
