Dear Ed: This is a letter announcing my desire for summer employment (summer 82) in the Speech Dept at Wayne State Univ. At present I am living in some small country in the Middle East, one that is occasionally mentioned in the newspaper and sometimes talked about on T.V: We are surrounded by many hostile Arabs folks who if they only could would give us a poke here and there. Anyway the writer of this letter would like to decompress for awhile as he merges up from this Mediterranean of hot heads and lunatics to the Regan country where northern calm prevails and teach if possible not only the basic speech communication course but also something to do with speech in the elementary school with some connection to creative drama.
